DaiJhah Owens was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. After high school, she moved to Bowling Green, Ohio where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies major (HDFS) at Bowling Green State University. HDFS is the study of humans from every developmental stage (birth-death) and the effects family dynamics/society/culture/politics has on human development. In 2018, she completed her Masters in Public Administration. Her passion has always been to be an advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. The avenue she chooses to express her passion happens to be political analysis . We hope through her writing, you all can feel her passion! Welcome to the team, DaiJhah!

#MeetTheWriters - We are excited to continue introducing our writing team this week! Next up, we have Latasha McGill (@tashamac523)!
—
Latasha Monique McGill, lovingly referred to as Tasha Mac, is the mother of four daughters, grandmother to one granddaughter and another grandchild on the way. She’s been a parent since the age of 17 years old and by the age of 25, she was the mother of four. Being a parent so early in life taught her how to persevere and rise above whatever life brought my way. After being transplanted from New Orleans to Jackson, MS in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, she used her time wisely and earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Mississippi College, her Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Certification in Leadership from Belhaven University. When she’s not reading for personal development or writing policies for my career in Government Contracts, she’s more than likely laughing at something one of my girls said in our group chat, working out with my personal trainer or enjoying this new season of her life. Nonetheless, she has plenty to do as she continues building her brand, I Am Tasha Mac, LLC; her freelance writing business that is tailored to business document writing and blog writing. She’s also working on her first book “Walk in Your Power, Walk in Your Purpose.” Welcome to the team, Tasha Mac!
